Update....

NC clay sucks! LOL, but the rock had a lot of grip to them. I'm sure the pic's will come.

Yeah, Uwharrie is nothing but red clay, trees, and rocks. When we went down there it had rained considerably the night before and that made everything gnarly. Daniel was next to impossible without some sort of mud tires and a locker or two, and the bottom areas were either flooded out or "marshed up", which gave new meaning to the term "rootin'".

Wish I had gone this year... :(

I have a group that goes twice a year. Spring and Fall. lemme know if you are up for the fall run. Normally 3-4 days camping atop Kodak.
