I installed my SKYJACKER lift a couple weeks ago and the poly shock bushings have already split.
I put grease on them when i put them in... it was tight but they went in okay I thought.
My guess is that it's something I've done and not defective parts. Does anyone know why new bushings would split in half in less than two weeks? Could it be they were too tight? The rear shocks have that steel tube that goes through the bushing, so it can only get so tight...
rear shock bushings top and bottom split &
bottom of the front shock bushings have split
