Any of you know of a good condition, late model, basic DD around for short money?
Long story made short, my mom had an accident this morning and totalled her car (A 1998 Mitsu Eclipse Sypder).
She and my step-father recently split up and she had to buy a new place to live.
Since her car was in good condition and was paid off she had no intention of replacing it any time soon
My brother and I replaced the stereo at Christmas, and put new tires on it in April.
Unfortunately she is now without a vehicle and does not have a ton of extra cash available.
Soooo...
Thinking something "late model" (like less than 10 years old).
Rice or Kraut or Apple Pie flavored is fine.
Auto or manual doesn't matter.
Something fuel efficient would be nice.
Decent looking and reliable are musts.
So, RJ... whatcha got?
