YJ:
Motor mounts
Motor mount lift
Body lift
Build "spare" rear driveshaft
Build mounts for Honda Civic Si seats
Center console
Actually mount front license plate (remove zip ties)

ZJ:
Tranny output seal
Serp belt & idler pulleys
Timing set
Water pump
Find exhaust leak (hopefully not ANOTHER cracked header)
Find someone to "flash" PCM

Chebby:
Register/Insure/Plates
Master cylinder (hopefully that solves it's lack of brakes)
Swap tires around
1.5" spacers in front

Yeah... that ain't all getting done in a month... that is the "whole summer" list.

8 days later... and all that's really done is Registration / Insurance & Temp Plates on the Chebby.

Still chasing the brake issues.

And work on the ZJ can't start until the Chebby can handle DD duties for a while.

The YJ is buried in the garage, blocked in by the Chebby, a coupla trailers and a pile of lumber for the porch build project.

According to Jeff it is a sad sight stuffed with patio furniture cushions and miscellaneous other crap.

Wheel bearings replaced. However that did not fix the growling coming from the front axle more specifically the right side. Any ideas?

PSC steering box came in now just waiting on flaming river shaft

This is a CJ right? I am assuming your front driveshaft is still on? It's likely the ujoints on the driveshaft. Try pulling the front driveshaft and see if it goes away. Ujoints are the cheap easy way to fix that.....but it could be the pinion bearings in the front axle if the ujoints don;t fix it.

I gave in and took it to Allen Tire today. Turns out the rear diff was dried up. Luckily it doesn't seem to be damaged. The problem with that growling noise is gone. However it might have a small leak. Might be going to Danna 44 sooner than I anticapated. Any one looking to go to 60's or know a friend?

Big Ron

a small leak is an easy fix. Wheel seals? diff cover? a 44 isn;t much of an upgrade over the model 20 with 1 pc shafts if any at all. a rear 60 is a waste compare to the value of a 14bolt.....but honestly...until you get the know how, i;d just do the 1 piece shafts and fix the leak in the 20....either that or fork out the $$$ and have someone else swap axles for you.

you're talking less that $10 in seals and rtv....so i'd go that route.
