Scott have you called the campground yet? I know you have been super busy, let me know if you need help with that, I am off all week.

Ok so of the 5 or so of us committed to going who's bringing what? Do we want to each pick a meal to cook like years prior?

Hey Gang,

I talked to Scott last night as he was without power sitting in the dark, He mentioned to me that he ran into an old RichmondJeeper (Who wishes to lurk and not speak so I will leave his name out) This said person told Scott that he had heard that Swiss Mtn was CLOSED to OHV. I'm sad to say that there is some truth to this. I have PM'd Bobby (Yellow CJ7) and this is what he has told me...

hey man, hows everything goin?

We have had a couple meetings with the National Park service, The rivertrail is now off limits to anything motorized due to it being within the NPS boundary. a couple other trails fall within the "possible future boundary" but are clear for now. I jsut ask that you all please dont run the river trail and be watchful while down there..... there is a few sections of the creek that have trees in them right now as well.

but it would be good to see you all to come to Charleston Saturday the 10th to our mudbog/rock comp,

also if for some reason you all cant make it to wv that weekend, we are having a weekend run at the new OHV park on the weekend of Oct 24th... plenty of onsite camping with facilities as well

As I recall we have only ran the "River Trail" once. We mainly hit the Creek, Waterfall, Lil Sister & Rock Garden...

SO it's still on....

I've never seen the river trail. We tried to find it the first time I went. We rode around forever and never found it...

i just got done reading that post aswell. we have only run the river trail once. in '04. it took half a day and we decided never to do it again. i've been looking at the maps. the questionable trail on the boundary is cracker hill at the top. which we have never made it all the way thru anyway. all the others. creeks waterfall little sister and so fourth are on private/public land. and ok to use.
