Where is everyone taking their scrap these days? Sims? or some pocket change place in the hood?Since we sold the house, I have a huge load I need to get some $$$ for before I finish moving out of the house and garage.
I assume they'll take anything..steel and Aluminum?

i use simms for big loads...like 40 ft trailer stacked high with heating oil tanks, any less the smaller recycling places usually end up paying out more imo. ive dropped off a ranger bed full of aluminum honda blocks at either pocket or the other one right near it...i tdont recall which. ..i had already striped the engines of an bs though cuz they will short ur pay out considerably if u dont bein aluminum an all.

ide go small like pocket money or the other one right up the road

Sometimes I go to ashland when I have convertors and when I have just scrap metal and old vehicles I use taylors out in cumberland, they are paying about 10.50 per 100 for steel and .30 a lbs for aluminum up to 100lbs and then its .35 a lb . made $277 just the otherday.

I have got just over 2g in the past month in scrap. But not $1 was for me..... But the scrapers like to see a truck full of SS bolts.
