Howdy... I bought my navy blue 97 TJ in mall crawler mode(4 inch spring lift on 33s) last September. I've added front and rear bumpers, rocker protection, new exhaust, and will have lockers and 4.56 soon. LittleJohn introduced me to Chris and Heather in Crozet and I wheeled almost every month last year. I'm hooked!! http://www.eastcoast4wd.net/forums/imagehosting/thum_288470d301097fc3.jpg (http://www.eastcoast4wd.net/forums/vbimghost.php?do=displayimg&imgid=388)

JK's and XJ's are two completely different Jeeps. It takes 3 inches of lift to properly fit a 31 on an XJ, where as on a Wrangler it takes none to an inch depending on the sub-model.

Whats up folks. I'm Alex and I'm actually from the Chesapeake area but since there is no wheeling down near me aside from Dennis Anderson's place I figured I'd check your forum out. I am on a few boards in my area and do most of my wheeling in the central Va area. Grew up outside of Charlottesville and moved to Norfolk in '02 for college. Been in Chesapeake since '07.
The wife has an '04 TJ Columbia Edition with a few goodies but stock suspension, and I've got a '97 Sport on 38" Creepys with a 6" long arm, locked F/R, mild stretch, built axles, and a doubler behind an SM465 pushed by a stock 4.0L.

My local club manages a 1400 acre piece of wheeling property right smack between Charlotessville and Fredericksburg. Thats where we play all the time. It belongs to my family though so we keep it on lock down and invite only after dealing with retards not following a few rules and then some battles with tresspassers last winter.

That sounds really interesting and man lucky YOU!!!
I live on about 13acres and we only have a small trail in the back woods leading around a trees and a nice mudhole that $50 says you won't make it thru under your own power :D
I hate mud, along with a lot of others on here, and have tried to get rocks dumped on my land but no one ever calls me back :(
